L.I.F.E Movement

Internet radio shows; it seems like everyone has one. Right off the top I can think of a handful of friends that use podcasts on a regular. However, only one of them is Christian oriented: L.I.F.E (Lives Igniting Fire Everywhere) Movement. The show is hosted by Alan Puac, who goes by DJ Mpax while on air.

Entering into his fourth month, Mpax has established a dedicated audience. He has also scheduled and booked his guest through the entire month of October. Obviously, he is passionate about what he does. After listening to an archived podcast, an interview was definitely in order. This is what I found out:

7MO: What is the mission of L.I.F.E Movement?

Mpax: There is only one mission and that is to do what our Father asks us to do and spread the gospel to all the corners of the world. We are just focused on spreading the gospel no matter how. We will serve God by all means necessary. We all just need to unite and support one another because we are all in the same boat and going towards one destination.

7MO: What type of guests do you invite to your show?

Mpax:
On L.I.F.E Movement we invite any ministry that is serving God through Rap and R&B. There are ministries well known and [relatively] unknown and we do not discriminate. We all serve one master. We are here to support the movement. We are here to worship His name and not ours.

7MO:
What’s the greatest testimony you’ve heard while on air?

Mpax:
The greatest testimony I have heard so far has to be from my brother Dwayne Tryumf. His testimony was like no other I have heard. It was about how God was taking him out of the world he lived and literally placed it in one single dream. You can hear the testimony on my podcast.

7MO: What motivates you most to live a life for Christ?

Mpax: Christ!!!! He is the motivation. I don’t understand why some people say their ministry, music, preaching or any other thing motivates them to serve Christ. God should be the only thing that makes us live for Him and die to this flesh. The way He died for us and gave us life is quite enough for me to live for Him.

7MO: What’s your favorite topic to discuss on L.I.F.E Movement? Why?

Mpax: Really, anything that God puts on the [respective] minister’s heart. But, we often talk about unity and not letting this cancer of fame, money and recognition cause us to lose focus. The focus is to serve our Lord and Savoir.

7MO: 7th Made is a lifestyle. It’s a continuous growth in the spirit. What do you do to ensure you are always growing spiritually?

Mpax: That is a really good question. This question not only should bring conviction but a reality check to whoever answers it. . One thing I surely do not want to feel is that I have done enough for God. We will never do enough. Living for Christ is a constant movement and we can never sit down and feel [content] from a spiritual standpoint. The way I know I am growing spiritually is that I constantly have to be moving forward with Him. Praying, reading the word, fellowshipping or even doing an interview like this and spreading the gospel. Of course we are going to slip because Romans 3:23 says, "for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." We [have to] keep moving forward.

7MO:
You begin your shows with a prayer. Explain why it is so important to go to the Lord in prayer before each show.

Mpax: Wow! I can't emphasize how important it is to honor God before we do anything and pray over our lives daily. A car without gasoline cannot drive. It is stuck. A life without Christ cannot move forward. It is stuck in the misery this world has set forth.
